 <\/p>\n

Only a few hours to go before the first edition of the <\/span>Cortina Curling Cup<\/b><\/a>, an event that from Thursday, January 11, to Saturday, January 13, will see ten of the best women’s curling teams compete at the Olympic Ice Stadium in Cortina d’Ampezzo, engaged in what is the only Italian leg of the <\/span>World Curling Tour. <\/b>It is organized by Fondazione Cortina, in synergy with Associazione Curling Cortina.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking to the ice at the Olimpico, a facility built for the 1956 Games and which will host the 2026 Olympics, will be two Italian formations, Team Constantini (with Stefania Constantini – gold medal winner at the Beijing 2022 Games in mixed doubles with Amos Mosaner – Elena Mathis, Marta Lo Deserto, Giulia Zardini Lacedelli, and Angela Romei) and Team Mariani (Rebecca Mariani, Camilla Gilberti, Lucrezia Grande, and Rachele Scalesse), plus formations from South Korea (Team Gim, the second ranked team in the world), Germany (Team Abbes), Switzerland (Team H\u00fcrlimann and Team SchwallerI), Estonia (Team Kaldvee), Scotland (Team Munro), Norway (Team Rorvik), and Turkey (Team Yildiz). <\/span><\/p>\n

The Cortina Curling Cup program will kick off on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m., with Team Constantini immediately on the ice (on court B it will be opposed by the Swiss girls of Team SchwallerI). The first day’s matches will go on into the evening (the last matches will start at 6 p.m.). Thursday, Jan. 11, will start at 8 a.m. and continue until late evening (last games at 8 p.m.) while the final day, Saturday, Jan. 13, will start at 8 a.m. to offer semifinals at 11:30 a.m. and finals at 3 p.m. <\/span><\/p>\n
