Everything is ready in Cortina d’Ampezzo for the first edition of the Cortina Curling Cup<\/strong><\/a>, an event that is proposed by the Cortina Foundation in synergy with the Cortina Curling Association and is one of eight events in the World Curling Tour<\/strong>. The event is 15 days away: Cortina Curling Cup will be held from Thursday, Jan. 11 to Saturday, Jan. 13. In contention are some of the best international women’s lineups, representing eight nations.<\/p>\n

Great anticipation, of course, for the two italian teams<\/strong>, the Team Constantini<\/strong> (with Stefania Constantini-winner of the Olympic gold medal in Beijing 2022, together with Amos Mosaner, in mixed doubles-Elena Mathis, Marta Lo Deserto, Giulia Zardini Lacedelli and Angela Romei), eighth strength in the world ranking, and the very young Italian Junior champions of the Team Mariani<\/strong> (Rebecca Mariani, Camilla Gilberti, Lucrezia Grande e Rachele Scalesse).<\/p>\n

Spotlight on Team Gim: the formation of South Korea that constitutes the second force in the world rankings<\/strong>. Along with the two blue teams and the Korean lineup, Team Abbes (Germany), Team H\u00fcrlimann (Switzerland), Team Kaldvee (Estonia), Team Munro (Scotland), Team Rorvik (Norway), Team Schwaller (Switzerland) and Team Yildiz (Turkey) will take to the Olympic ice.<\/p>\n

The teams are divided into two rounds. The matches, which will be played on three courts, will kick off on the morning of Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. and will go on throughout the day (the last match will start at 6 p.m.). Busy schedule on the second day, Jan. 12, as well, with the first pitches starting at 8 a.m. and the last games scheduled for 8 p.m. The final act on Saturday, Jan. 13 with quarterfinals at 8 a.m., semifinals at 11:30 a.m. and finals at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Three days of great entertainment are announced, then, at the Olympic Ice Stadium, a show that the public, for all three days, will be able to enjoy for free.<\/p>\n
